Jeanette Alexander posted today on Facebook... "It's with a heavy heart i tell you that our friend, Jay R. Jim Pieratt , died last night in Arizona from a battle with cancer! He was living in Guatemala and teaching kids to speak English. He was married and she is from Guatemala. Please remember his family and friends at this hard time!"
Jim's brother, Steve Pieratt, BHS '72, passed away in 2009. Read more here.

RIP JAY RJim was a BHS Class of 77 graduate.. We were classmates since kindergarten and grew up together.Vince KiefferThanks for the 77 back up, I was 76 so his sister was my grade!I talked with him about a month or so ago and he felt they were going to get rid of the cancer!Jr. And I would go to the Cornell theater at least once a week when we were little kids, hang out at the mall for 15 cent triple decker ice cream cones. He was like my little brother. Grew up with the family. His brother Steve passed away years ago from the same type of cancer.
I know exactly how you're feeling. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you good thoughts and hugs.

J R was my neighbor. We used to play football in the street. Wassem too sometimes and chuck vanderostyne. We fought some. We partied I broke his arm. RIP.
