OBITUARY

Taffy Ann Woods
November 18, 1946 – June 6, 2024

In Loving Memory of Taffy "Tata" Ann Woods

Taffy "Tata" Ann Woods, known for her unwavering kindness and selflessness, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, in Arco, Idaho, at the age of 77. Born on November 18, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, Taffy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Predeceased by her father, Arthur Whiting, Jr, mother, Colleen Hollowwa, and step-father, Chuck Hollowwa, Jr ; Taffy is survived by her beloved son-Greg Bammel; loving and supportive sister and her husband, Darleen and Lindsay Rogers, and caring brother and his wife, Roger and Charlotte Whiting, as well as her nieces, Shannon Rogers-and her husband, Jeff Daus Davis- and Aleesa Rogers and great niece, Seleena.

Taffy's life was one filled with meaningful contributions and talents. She graduated from Burbank High School and dedicated over 30 years to the printing industry as an Office Manager/Accountant before retiring. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her devotion to her family and furry companions. Taffy's love for animals, from her dogs to her horses, was unparalleled, and she always ensured they were spoiled and very loved.

A woman of many skills, Taffy was not only a talented seamstress, baker, and cook but also a creative individual who excelled at everything she did. Her passion for music, playing the organ and piano, and crafting beautiful flower arrangements displayed her artistic abilities. Taffy's diverse talents extended to knitting, gift wrapping, and creating memorable decorations for parties and holidays (with Holloween and Christmas being her favorites) as well as outside landscaping with walkways and flowers. She was also a collector of plates and Christmas ornaments; especially Disney themed - and Eeyore was her favorite!

In addition to her accomplished career and hobbies, Taffy had a special bond with her siblings, her nieces, and adopted son, Greg. She was known as the best sister and aunt that ever existed, always bringing joy and adventure to those around her.

A Celebration of Life Service for Taffy took place on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Hilltop Restaurant in Burbank, California. In honor of her life and passion for animals, donations to Guide Dogs for the Blind or the ASPCA are kindly requested in lieu of flowers.

Taffy's absence leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her, but her spirit of generosity and creativity will continue to inspire for generations to come. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who were touched by her warmth, love and compassion for family, friends and animals.
