Where Are They Now? Rob Meade, BHS '66

Received this email last night from Jerry McWilliams...

Hi all you classmates,

Thought you might find this interesting. Does everyone remember Rob Meade(Robert W. Meade or little Bob) from the class of '66? This video was on tonight's news here in Spokane. It's about the record amount of fire retardant that's been dropped on northwest fires from the Forest Service fire base out in Moses Lake, about half way between Spokane and Seattle.

The news people interview Rob Meade as he's the base manager there and has been for a number of years. Hope everyone enjoys seeing Rob again after all these years.

Cathy Lynn Carlson Laskowski, BHS '68 (1950-1988)

Tonight I connected via Facebook with Cathy's daughter, Annie, and thought it would be nice to honor her mother.

Cathy Lynn Carlson was born November 7, 1950 and grew up in Burbank. She graduated from Burbank High in 1968 and then worked for Pacific Bell telephone company. In 1969, she married Craig Laskowski and they had two children: Ryan born in 1977 and Annie in 1986.

One year later, on February 16, 1988, at the young age of 37, this beautiful wife and mother, died of lung cancer.

Cathy also had a brother, Lee Carlson, BHS '66, who sad to say, passed away about 1-1/2 years ago from a heart attack.

Always missed but never forgotten...

We added Cathy's photo to Find A Grave here;

Nancy Newbro Ryan, BHS '66 (1948-1984)

Nancy Elizabeth Newbro Ryan was born April 2, 1948 and she died at 35 years of age on February 1, 1984.

Nancy and I were in Z Club together in high school. She was so fun and very sweet person. I am sad we lost her so young.

These pics are from the 1966 Burbank High Ceralbus Yearbook. The above photo shows me (Cathy Palmer) and Nancy goofing off... so fun! And below shows Nancy as Head Flag Twirler for the school marching band.
She wrote me a very sweet note in my yearbook.
