Lorraine Marie Moore Piela
April 5, 1954 - August 5, 1974
In school, Lorraine went by her middle name, Marie.
She is remembered as a very sweet and goodhearted girl.
Tragically, she was killed by a drunk driver while she and her husband were riding bikes in Mountain View, California.
Marie's husband's name was Jan Piela. They had been married about 6 weeks before the accident.

ReplyDeleteRegarding Jan Piela, it looks like they were married May 17, 1974. Do you know his age or about when he was born or any other information about him? His name makes me think he may have been from another country? Poland? Anything you can think of to help us to locate him.
