PASSING OF J.T.HEALY
Burbank High School Alumni 1965

Today I received a telephone call from the daughter of J.T. Healy ….  Kathy ….. letting me know that our friend … Burbank High Alumni … LAPD RETIRED /  146th CALIF AIR GUARD Msgt Ret. ….recently passed away on April 20th, 2024 .    JT HEALY was admitted to home hospice care in Henderson, NV in recent months.

At a recent Burbank High School luncheon I’d taken a picture of past Burbank ALUMNI waving to JT to wish him well.   Sad to say … it was a few days late.   I’d talked to him earlier in April … and his spirits seemed high .

Anyway … the daughter Kathy and his wife, Kitty … were appreciative of that.

JT Healy will have a celebration of life at his home in Henderson, NV on June 2 … .burial on June 4th at a Veteran’s gravesite.

JT HEALY was a retired LAPD officer after 20 years …. Also JT served with me in the 146th California Air National Guard and retired in 1993 as a Msgt with the Security unit.

Besides wife Kitty and daughter Kathleen, John also leaves a son, Sean Healy. Please keep the family in your prayers.
