We just received the following sad news from Chris Varner...
According to the 1950 Census, Meryle's parents were Emery and Merle Clark and she had an older brother, Donald, ten years her senior. The family lived on Dymond Street in Burbank.
Meryle married Rober E Rinker in 1964 and they lived in Arizona, She died in Ohio and her manner of death is listed as natural.
OBITUARY
Vickie C. Rybak, 42, a resident of Zephyr Cove, passed away October 24, 2011. Vickie was born November 10, 1968 to George and Donna Pogrell Rybak in Glendale, California.
Vickie was the previous owner of Round Hill Video in Zephyr Cove and also went to school for and became a Certified Cosmetologist. Vickie was educated in hotel and restaurant management and worked for several years in supervisory positions for Woodland Hills Hilton in California.
She loved the Tahoe area and always looked forward to the first snowfall, she was an excellent skier and enjoyed fishing with her father. Vickie was proud to be an American from Czech background in Prague. Vickie loved serious classic music by Dvorak’s “A New Symphony” and Smetana’s “My Country.”
Curtis Vincent Keith, 80, husband of Phyllis Ann Fensom Keith, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. He was born in Yamacraw, KY, on May 10, 1939, to the late Vincent and Rose Headrick Keith. He was a retired senior property guard for the city of Burbank and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Angel Krieg, Clinton Keith and Toby Keith; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters, Janis Miller and Velta Keith; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Norma Newell and wife of 53 years Sheryl Loy McGuffey Keith.
Services will be at 9:30AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 by Rev. Ron Barker at Calvary Baptist Church, 204 French Avenue, Winchester, KY. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. Arrangements by Scobee Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church.
Nov. 1, 1934 - Nov. 14, 2018 Norma Newell, a woman of faith, love, compassion, and a world traveler, passed away following a sudden illness. She will be remembered as a loving sister, mom, grandma, and GG to her family. She was also a devoted friend to all who had the privilege to know her. Norma is survived by her brother, Curtis Keith, sisters, Valda Keith and Janis Miller, her two daughters, Kim (Fred) Parks and Jeri Newell- (Tom) Davis, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church, Pasadena, 500 E. Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91101, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a reception immediately following.
