"Larry was born in Putnam County, Mo. and his parents moved to LA, California when he was very young. I used to go visit them when I was out there in the military in 1959 to 1961 and he was just a young boy at that time."

Larry's parents were Earl Robert Bressie (1923–1995) and Doris Jean Bressie (1929–2018).
