2014 - in loving memory of Oscar C. Pokorny

Although my father did not live with MS, he was very supportive and proud of my efforts to help fight and find a cure. In lieu of flowers, my family is asking for donations to causes my dad believed in and a cure for MS is one of those causes. This will be the 10th year that I ride for friends and a future cure... and this year, I will be thinking of my Dad every mile.

NOTE from Oscar's wife, Angela Franchino Pokorny - BHS 64

Dearest Friends,
We want to thank each and every one of you for all of your prayers, cards, phone calls, support, and generosity you have shown to us over the last six months. Our prayer was that Oscar would be healed. Everyday we read Psalm 30:2 to Oscar...

"O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me."
Psalm 30:2

God did answer our prayer. Oscar is no longer in any pain and is completely healed...He will be more than GREATLY missed, I know by you, and ALL of us!

We love you,
Angela, Vicki, Eric, and Jessica
