Steven Gordon Bailey (BHS '71) 1953-2011

Received this note this morning on the loss of Steve Bailey. May the Lord comfort his family and friends I pray...

Hi Cathy~
I am sorry to report that Steven passed away on the evening of 05/03/2011 due to complications from Leukemia. He put up a huge battle for 16 months, and had a bone marrow donor in waiting when he came down with a rare and unusual bacterial infection which eventually attacked his lungs.

Steven was in the Class of 1971 and he is also the brother of Greg Bailey who passed away just prior to Steven's initial Leukemia diagnosis.

Attached is a link to his obituary and a video tribute to him.

Should you or any one else have any questions about Steven I would be more than happy to answer them.

Sincerely,

Bob Taylor
