April 28, 1952 ~ June 20, 2016
Jinni passed away peacefully on Monday at home in Fieldbrook, CA with her loved ones with her after suffering so much and enduring so much over the last six years. Her husband of 45 years, Jeffrey Reinus, endured it all along with Jinni these past years. Jinni's service will be this Thursday the 23rd at 10:00 A.M. in Eureka, CA.

Please be thinking of Jeffrey and his family during that special time for them. Besides Jeffrey, Jinni leaves their daughter Jessica, and her husband Justin, her two granddaughters Sadie and Orah, her brother David, and sister Terri. Jeff and Jinni's daughter, Jaimee, predeceased Jinni. Any memorial contributions may be made to "Hospice of Humboldt".

Judy C Moore, BHS '66 (1947-1992)

We received a request from Mindy Tobin, biological daughter of Ken Moore (’67), looking for information about her father and his sister, aunt Judy Moore, who passed away suddenly in 1992. Judy never married and had no children.

Per Mindy, "I spoke to my second cousin and he told me that after high school and up until she died, Aunt Judy worked for a day care and did baby sitting. She also watched many celebrity kids including 'Mikey from the Life cereal commercial back in the 70's:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYEXzx-TINc

We posted the following on Find-A-Grave:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=164948003

Judy C Moore, age 44, passed away May 27, 1992.

Judy was born September 7, 1947, in Hastings, Nebraska to parents, William "Bud" N. and Henrietta Joan (Podewitz) Moore.

The family moved to California in 1955.

Both Judy and younger brother, Ken Moore (1949-2009), grew up in Burbank, California and attended Miller Elementary, John Muir Jr High and Burbank High School Schools. Judy graduated from Burbank High in 1966.

Judy is buried in Nebraska next to her mother.

Jim Milz, BHS '78, Passed Away March 22, 2016

Today Jim Schmidt posted this note:
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my lifelong friend, Jim Milz, Class of 1978. Much too soon, my good friend. Much too soon. May you rest in peace.

Jim Milz in Memoriam

On March 22nd, Jim Milz went to take a nap, resting for an upcoming surgery. He didn't wake up. Jim passed in his sleep that day.

Jim is beloved by his family and friends who know him and will remember him as, among many other things, loving, caring, fun-loving, funny, and mischievous.

Jim treated everyone as family. He was always available to help. He demonstrated a "you-first" attitude. Always asking about you, making sure you were alright, before he took care of himself. A loving family man, always so proud of his kids and grandkids.

Jim was a sweet person, a trusted friend, without an ounce of malice in his heart.

Jim was always up for fun, ready to go on little or no notice.

We will miss him dearly. God's speed, and rest in peace our son, our father, our grandfather, our friend, Jim Milz.

Please feel free to share your stories and upload photos on this page. Also, please share with family and friends who know Jim.

In addition, the family has opened a gofundme account to help his children pay for funeral expenses. Please consider helping by making a donation. Thank you very much.

As many of you know our father Jim Milz (Bo) has passed away unexpectedly due to reasons that are still unknown. He did not have life insurance or anything to help us pay for the funeral/ cremation expenses. Jim was the kind of person to go out of his way to help others out and he always put others first and himself last. He was the sweetest, most kindest man ever. He left behind 3 kids ages 19, 18 and 16 along with a grand daughter that's 9 months old. Deaths in the family is a tragedy and for us (his kids) being so young can't afford to bury our father. We are seeking out for help and any amount would be greatly appreciated.
