Jim Milz, BHS '78, Passed Away March 22, 2016
Today Jim Schmidt posted this note:
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of my lifelong friend, Jim Milz, Class of 1978. Much too soon, my good friend. Much too soon. May you rest in peace.
Jim Milz in Memoriam
On March 22nd, Jim Milz went to take a nap, resting for an upcoming surgery. He didn't wake up. Jim passed in his sleep that day.
Jim is beloved by his family and friends who know him and will remember him as, among many other things, loving, caring, fun-loving, funny, and mischievous.
Jim treated everyone as family. He was always available to help. He demonstrated a "you-first" attitude. Always asking about you, making sure you were alright, before he took care of himself. A loving family man, always so proud of his kids and grandkids.
Jim was a sweet person, a trusted friend, without an ounce of malice in his heart.
Jim was always up for fun, ready to go on little or no notice.
We will miss him dearly. God's speed, and rest in peace our son, our father, our grandfather, our friend, Jim Milz.
Please feel free to share your stories and upload photos on this page. Also, please share with family and friends who know Jim.
In addition, the family has opened a gofundme account to help his children pay for funeral expenses. Please consider helping by making a donation. Thank you very much.

As many of you know our father Jim Milz (Bo) has passed away unexpectedly due to reasons that are still unknown. He did not have life insurance or anything to help us pay for the funeral/ cremation expenses. Jim was the kind of person to go out of his way to help others out and he always put others first and himself last. He was the sweetest, most kindest man ever. He left behind 3 kids ages 19, 18 and 16 along with a grand daughter that's 9 months old. Deaths in the family is a tragedy and for us (his kids) being so young can't afford to bury our father. We are seeking out for help and any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Leota Mary Caleel Bancroft, BHS '69 (1951-2010)
At 58 years, Leota Mary Caleel Bancroft passed away on May 30, 2010, much too young. She was born August 31, 1951, to Norman and Catherine Caleel and grew up in Burbank, the city where she lived when she died. She has two sisters, Christy Curtis and Liz Weiss.
I remember Leota as a cute, sweet & fun-loving girl. Even though it's been 6 years, her family and friends still miss her. RIP...
