Today, John Boylan posted these photos on Facebook of Chris Gillander at Jalama Beach.
On October 26, 2015, Deborah Boyd posted on Facebook that Chris Gillander died the previous week in his sleep.
She wrote, "Chris had one sister Mary and two brothers, Joe and John. He was my husband's cousin and I've known him since I was 15 years old. RIP Chris, you will be missed. "
