BHS SENIOR BULLDOGS OCTOBER HALLOWEEN LUNCHEON REMINDER

Greetings Bulldogs...

What happened to September? Today is the last day and tomorrow begins October! (Have you started your Holiday Shopping yet?) With the beginning of October, we realize we are now in the lovely season of Autumn and Halloween is "fast-approaching". On that note, let us remind you that our October Senior Bulldogs Halloween Luncheon will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Date: Monday, October 6, 2025

Place: Burbank Elks Lodge 2232 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505

Time: 11:00AM

Cost: $16 per person

Menu: Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies, and Dessert

Feel Free to get in touch with your "Childhood Self" and wear something "Halloweenish", A costume, a funny hat or mask, orange and black attire, Halloween jewelry...whatever! It all adds to the FUN! 

You never know if there will be some "tricks" or some "treats"... There WILL for sure, be some "guaranteed FUN!"

**************ALSO, be thinking about our Annual Toys For Tots Christmas Toy Drive in December...At our DECEMBER LUNCHEON, we will be collecting new unwrapped toys for children and teens who are less fortunate. The Burbank Police Dept. will be on hand to pick up the Toys and Deliver them to the collection location. Plan to bring a couple (or more) toys for the Toys for Tots in December. THANKS!

November 2024 Senior Bulldog Lunch was Jam Packed!

The November Senior Bulldog "Turkey Feast" Luncheon was "jam packed" yesterday! The 70's Classes took the prize for the most attendees! Bravo to the "Kidlets"...

 

Lunch was yummy, followed by Pumpkin Pie and homemade whipped cream (thanks to Jeff Schredder '66, who brought 4 Antique 80-year-old canisters filled with his special whipped cream, with which to top off our pie desserts) Thanks, Jeff!

 

We were reminded by Toys For Tots Chairman, Jon Kirkwood '64, to bring an un-wrapped toy or two for the December Marine Corps Toys For Tots Drive...

 

Everyone seemed to have a great afternoon!

November Senior Bulldog Luncheon Reminder

 

Greetings Bulldogs,

We cannot fathom the fact that once Halloween has come and gone next week, we will be looking towards Thanksgiving! The Holidays are definitely in "Full Swing"! 
We will be celebrating an early Thanksgiving at the November Senior Bulldogs Luncheon on November 4th...

Menu: A Traditional Thanksgiving Feast with Turkey and all the trimmings and "Punkin' Pie"

REMINDER from Jon Kirkwood '64 (Our Toys for Tots Chairman): For the DECEMBER Luncheon, please remember to bring a new UN-WRAPPED Toy or Two, to help support our annual Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive. Your Generosity will definitely help to make a lot of less fortunate Children very happy this Holiday Season...

Senior Bulldog Cinco de Mayo Luncheon 2024

Welcome to our Sr Bulldog Cinco de Mayo celebration luncheon!

Today was the Cinco de Mayo Sr. Bulldog luncheon. We had about 60 in attendance! Thank you George Colvin for bringing the Mexican Fiesta Music to enjoy. It made it so much more festive!

We had a yummy Mexican Taco Bar Buffet.

These bulldogs & miniature Donkey piñata were so cute.

The tables were decorated with Cinco de Mayo decor; topped with salsa & tortilla chips!
