Sad news announced on Facebook today...

Carrie Diaz-Lathouwers wrote, "I just got a call about one of my brother's best friends, Steve Whittle. He passed away either late last night or early this morning. It was announced at a church in Burbank that my cousin goes to. Steve was class of 72 at BHS. He was a very sweet, quiet man. Like another brother to me. He was a great husband to Mary, a great dad to his daughter, Stephanie. A wonderful brother and a wonderful friend you could always count on. I know he will be okay, he is with my brother in heaven and all of our families and friends who have gone before him. My condolences to Mary, Stephanie, all his family and friends. He will be truly missed. RIP Steve. Love you!"
