Lynda Parker Lockwood, BHS '64 (1946-2015)

"We are so sad to pass on this news, we just received from Lynda Parker Lockwood's son Scott Lockwood, regarding Lynda's passing...She was such a beautiful person, inside and out and has suffered for so many years with this disease...May God Bless Her..."

On January 20 th 2015, at the age of 68 Lynda went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lynda was a wonderful wife, mother and friend.

She leaves behind, her husband of almost 50 years, John Lockwood. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and her husband Jim Hammond and their three children; son Scott and his wife Sara and their three boys; son Todd and his wife Julie and their two boys and daughter Amy and her son.

Lynda was one of only several non-athletes at the University of Colorado to receive a letter and was the honorary recipient of the "Career Achievement" award from the University and Athletic Department.

In lieu of flowers she would be pleased to know that donations were made on her behalf to the Alumni "C" Club. A Celebration of Life event will be held from 2:00-5:00pm on January 31 st at the "Lockwood House Building" 198 Second Avenue Niwot, CO 80503. Visit to share condolences. Lynda was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
