A 100 YEAR HISTORICAL VIEW OF THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

Received this from fellow classmate BHS '67 today...

Cathy: Don't know if you are interested in putting this on the website but some may be interested in this part of history.

Cheers, ^jj^ ;o)) Luana Scott

These photo's are a marvelous history of a place that unfortunately no longer exists. The San Fernando Valley area.

A 100 YEAR HISTORICAL VIEW OF THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

Sheep grazing on a ranch owned by the Weddington family at 4141 Whitsett Avenue, circa late 1800s. Later, it was a wheat farm, a casaba melon farm, and eventually a golf course. Undated, but a bit of left corner reads "18" so probably late 1890's.
