Through Facebook, I received the sad news from Donald Matthews:
Frank McGinnis, class of '62, passed away in Corozal Town, Belize on Dec 18th, 2012. He was a 21 year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department. He participated in and won medals in the Police Olympics in sailing and once sailed a 28' sailboat to Hawaii! He is survived by his son, Michael, and daughters, Melissa and Michelle. He was an avid surfer and accomplished athlete. He will be sorely missed. RIP, Frank.
May the Lord comfort the family I pray.
