Does anyone know where or anything about the print teacher Bruce Jones? 1981?
Miguel Maldonado
He was my print class teacher back in the late seventies. The class set up and printed the school paper. He was a really laid back, cool dude.

Well, I just wanted to reach out to anyone of his family or others who remember him and share that he changed my life and I've been in screen printing my whole adult career and I wanted to say thanks! 😊
Here is what he wrote in my senior year book
"Keith, what a year in print shop. The silk screen expert has finally made it through Keith. You have been a big asset to the program and your driving determination will open many opportunities in the coming years. I still want the silk screen tour this summer. Good luck always to a super student bruce Jones."

Bruce told me “ good thing I passed you, or you would not have graduated. You owe me”
Loved that guy!

Yeah I remember Bruce our print shop teacher. He had a cool Honda I think it was a CB 750F. Any body hear or in touch with him?
How did you learn of this death?
ReplyDeleteWe receive info from several sources and in this case specifically, I do not remember how I learned of his passing.
DeleteThis is my dad.
ReplyDeleteOh I’m so sorry for your loss. If you have an obituary or a more recent photo or if you want to add anything, I can do that. It seems to me that several of his students, totally enjoyed him as a teacher. My email is cathyjpalmer@yahoo.com.
