Robert Alan Schaedler

Robert Alan Schaedler, 70 years of age, passed away at his home in Burbank, California on May 9, 2013 from a brain tumor.
Robert was born in 1942 to Heinz and Ruth Schaedler and graduated from Burbank High School in 1961. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a member of the United States Navy - UDT (Underwater Demolition) USN Naval Seal Team. He was recently honored by eight of his Seal Team members who visited him at his home in Burbank. Following his service in the Navy, Robert worked for CalState in the Technology Department and then opened AV Service Specialty in Pasadena, California. He also enjoyed working for the Burbank Police Department Park Patrol prior to retiring. He enjoyed boating, diving and photography. Robert was pre-deceased by his father Heinz in 1959 and leaves his mother, Ruth Schaedler Cross (Llano, Ca); his brother Gary Schaedler (Kathleen) (Burbank, CA) and his niece Jennifer Scott (Steve) (Simi Valley, CA). http://www.burbankleader.com/community/obituaries/tn-gnp-robert-alan-schaedler-october12-1942-may-9-2013-20130604,0,4913276.story |
